I highly recommend trying their signature dish, the Kru Roll – a mouthwatering blend of spicy tuna, avocado, and crispy onion.

Calling all cheese lovers! The Rind is a cheese-centric restaurant located in Midtown, Sacramento, specializing in artisanal cheese plates, mac and cheese, grilled cheese sandwiches, and more. Bonus – they offer over 50 types of craft beers and wines selected to complement your cheesy delights! My personal favourite is their Bacon Mac & Cheese – an indulgent treat that I can’t help but order every time I dine at this charming restaurant.

Canon East Sacramento is a bar and restaurant that features unique cocktails and fresh meals in a stylish, mid-century modern atmosphere. The menu is carefully curated, with a focus on fresh seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. Whatever you do, don’t miss out on their weekend brunch, featuring delicious plates such as the Matcha Pancakes or Their famous Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich.

Burgers and Brew
This casual burger joint has been one of my favourites ever since I moved to Sacramento. Burgers and Brew uses only the freshest ingredients, making their burgers some of the juiciest and most delicious in town! Be sure to check out their oversized portions of Fries and Onion Rings, and for meat lovers, the Lamb Burger is an excellent choice that is sure to satisfy.

Bangkok at 12 Thai Restaurant
If you’re a fan of Thai food, you can’t miss out on Bangkok at 12, located in East Sacramento. The menu boasts a wide selection of traditional Thai dishes, from savory curries to pad thai, all prepared with fresh, vibrant ingredients. I highly recommend trying their Papaya Salad or the Pad See Ew, both incredibly flavorful and addictive dishes.

Definitely try out their famous Volcano – a mountainous dessert that is a favorite among locals.
