So, I’ve compiled a list of Tucson’s best dog parks for you and your fur baby!

Brandi Fenton Memorial Park
This beautiful park has two separate fenced areas for dogs to play in… one for small dogs and another for larger pups. It has plenty of shade and seating options for pet owners. There’s also a great trail that meanders through the park if you’d like to take your dog for a walk afterwards! Plus, the park is named in honor of a young girl who loved animals… so you know it must be a great spot for dogs!

Christopher Columbus Dog Park
This is one of my personal favorites! It’s a large park with separate areas for big and small dogs and plenty of seating options. They even have a playground and splash pad for dogs to enjoy during the hot summer months. This park also has a dog washing station, so no need to muddy up your car on the way home!

Lakeside Dog Park
This park is situated on the outskirts of Tucson with stunning scenic views. There’s a small dock from where your dogs can jump into the lake for a swim. The park has two fenced-in areas for big and small dogs, as well as drinking fountains, shade, and plenty of seating. It’s also located next to a few decent restaurants, making it an excellent spot for lunch or an early evening meal.

Garden of Gethsemane
This dog park is built over the remains of a Catholic Cemetery and has an eerie vibe, so it may not be for everyone. However, the park is beautifully designed with both a small dog and large dog section. The park has plenty of seating and water stations to ensure your furry friend stays hydrated. Plus, rumor has it that the park is open 24 hours a day so you can visit at any time, day or night – perfect for night owls and those with hectic schedules!

George Mehl Foothills Park
This park is located in the Foothills and has beautiful mountain views and a large area for dogs to run off-leash. There are separate areas for big and small dogs and plenty of seating options. This dog park even has poop bags and garbage cans, so no need to worry about pet waste being left behind!

This park offers both small and large dog areas, plenty of trees for shade, and seating. There is also a dog-friendly trail close by if you and your pup would like to take a walk! What makes this park special is that it’s located near a library, which means you can take your furry friend for a park-date before indulging in a relaxing book.

Forbes is a small off-leash dog park sandwiched between two baseball fields. It’s not a very big dog park, but it’s perfect for people looking for something low-key and not too crowded. The park has separate areas for big and small dogs as well as seating options, and there are plenty of shaded spots to escape the Arizona sun!

This small and cozy park is located just south of Tucson, and it offers a great escape for you and your pup from city life. This dog park features separate big and small dog areas and has plenty of seating options for pet owners. There is a dirt path alongside the dog park if you’d like to take your dog for a walk before or after their playtime.

Catalina Off-Leash Dog Area
This stunning dog park is located in the Catalina Mountains and offers a beautiful escape from the city. There is a large fenced area for dogs to play off-leash and even a few trails for you and your canine companion to explore together. The only downside is that dog owners must clean up after their pup and there are no trash receptacles available, so make sure to bring your own poop bags!

This dog park is a magical oasis in the middle of the city. With a winding creek, beautiful trees, and lovely shaded areas, your dog will feel like they’re in their own little paradise! The park has delicious water stations, two separate areas for big and small dogs, and plenty of seating options for pet owners. Moreover, this park comes with a bonus… it offers dog yoga classes! Yes, you heard me right… dog yoga! What makes it even better is the beautiful Zen garden to meditate in after your furry friend has been exercising.
